The only washes used were for pin washes, which were both made up from the oil paints (Raw Umber and black). There is no overall dusting of the tank, I wanted the tank to look heavily faded by the sun, this was achieved using a Naples yellow white and olive green using the dot technique. It was built up in layers for the panel fades. I can see why you might think the tank has a dust coat but this really is just the heavy fading. The Naples yellow does help give it that dust like appearance but was not intentional. The dust on the tank is on the wheels tracks and lower and parts of the upper hull again using the Naples Yellow sometimes mixed with a white to give the dust a slight variation in colour.
