Yes sir fresh charged lipo battery installed and tank turned on.

As for the driver and uninstalling it I'm going to let my daughter do that when she gets home. She got the IBU3 program to install on my new laptop and it even has a short cut icon!

I'll have her check what I dud and go from there. I'm not going to rush cause I don't want any more problems.

And guys I just really want to thank you for trying to help me muddle through this set up stuff. I've never had anything make me feel so utterly stupid and useless as this thing has. :'(

I've had years of modding various games and I can sympathise with stuff just not working and the frustration of it!

Nope, still don't work. It doesn't see a port to talk to the tank. Odd thing is when I plug the IBU3 into its cable and then into the port my laptop makes sounds so the laptop knows somethings plugged in. Also the little yellow light flashes 3 times and goes solid, also what its supposed to do. Just no driver port #'s drop down wen I click the port icon.

Made sure to right click and run as administrator. It says something about clicking next to the icon to install and no icons are present. So I backed up and it says to repair so I clicked that, it asked me if I want to install the virtual driver port I click yes and it does its thing and says its installed. I go to the IBU3 icon on the home page and click it, the opening IBU3 page pops up, I click the port icon, it pops up, click the dropdown arrow and where it should have a port # its blank. It says its installed but it STILL doesn't work?

Ian mentioned something about 32 bit system, Windows 10 is a 64 bit driver, would this be the problem?

I think one of the drivers is 32bit and one does 32bit and 64bit OS might be the 1.4 ones do 64 bit

Just waiting for Ian to see if he knows for sure and what to do, but I do remember reading other members can't run it on Windows 10 either.

I will be taking it with me to visit Gary, maybe he can figure it out.

It runs fine with Windows 10, it's XP which is hit and miss.

On your computer go to control panel, system & security, system at it will display spec of your computer and the version of Windows.
