They're both very good units, I have both.
Ian is not forgebear.

Dave is forgebear.

Brian if you look at the thread that you, Ad Lav and Painless are running I put in a piece about Turnigy/Flysky radios that you might like to look at.

So by the the looks of it the IBU2 pro is the one. Now the question how much will that cost me for the complete package?. And do you recommend a particular radio system?. Brian...
Radios, all work with the IBU's because you calibrate the unit to the radio so automatically takes account of the range been sent from the radio as some of the cheaper ones like hobby King only produce 50% of the range. But if you've already a 7 channel use that.

The Turnigy 9xr pro is a good radio but I say overkill for tanks. My current faverite radio is the FlySky FS-i6, decent price, cheap receivers, very low power use, light compact radio and more than enough features to suit tank use.

Ian, have you found a way to make both sticks self-centering on the i6? Do you have a good source for parts?
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

I've found a flysky parts seller in China, who sell the gimbals but so far they have sent me 3 and all have been wrong

I think it's just a case of wrong stocking label added or something so I am communicating with them to try resolve it, but language barrier is slowing things down.
