I have emailed forgebear, hopefully he can supply some gearboxes for my poor hard done by fleet!!!
Anyways, by way of an intro (I'll keep it short, i work nights and REALLY should be in bed, but with several large events coming up the mental "to do" list is preventing sleep)
As a kid i loved military modelling, star wars, and R/C cars, in no particular order (which also applied to my bedroom as, Dad used to say.....well "no particular order" featured whenever he mentioned my room anyway)
I then spent (or rather MIS spent) 4 fantastic years in The Royal Hussars, the finest cavalry regiment in the British Army at the time (yep, i am sooooooooo ready to be flamed for that one
)This simply compounded my love of armour, though i was far to full of wonderlust to make the army a career.
I have spent most of my time since then either in engineering, or travelling and have developed the Tank Biz as a nice little sideline.....mainly coz its fun!
I do make a few bits and pieces for the tanks, though i avoid anything complex as bosses can get very excitable about production lines for stuff that isn't of their design!!! :-X
I do a few shows here and there, and i do look forward to bumping into more of you guys over the years as shows are always a great place to meet fellow armour nuts, hopefully whilst getting a few tinnies "downrange"!!!
