Steiner, I also have the Impact tracks from welsh dragon,one end of the pins has a splined end which you can barely see,use a magnifying glass and slide other end first. I also put a small white mark on the inside of the track where I mated the track ends.Mine are early model but the pins are the same type,splined on one end.SAX

Sorry, I should have replied to this thread earlier, I managed to acquire a set of tracks ( Impact ) Ouch, that blew my finances to kingdom come.   :'(   You boys on here, sure know how to lead me astray
