Wibbly, Thanks for that, But the only reason I am thinking of a Panzer 4 build is because I have a Heng Long PZ4 body and Turret spare, and I also have an ASP Control board that I should like to see operating with a downloaded Maybach HL120 V12 engine sound rather than the more common Tiger engined Maybach HL230 V12,
The ASP being just a bit bigger than the RX18 it should be an easier fit than an IBU2.
Once again thanks for the advise.
I think this will be either my 4th or perhaps my 5th Panzer 4,(Don't Ask)
Shaun.

Rad, on the top of the front page of the Forum is a download menu, click on that and scroll down, and you will find the Tamiya Panzer 4 PDF. Download it.
It contains Very detailed exploded drawings with part numbers and full installation details.

Yes sir, somebody told me the same, and I did it. The plans helped me a lot to see the pieces needed, but I would like to know if somebody installed it in a asiatam hull with metal wheels and tracks. Im a bit worried about fitting the asiatam wheels on the suspension arms, and if the suspension would handle the added weight correctly.
About the ASP Im looking forward to put my hands in one. Over the paper it seems to be the best board so far, but I have read that the IBU 2 drives better. What can you tell us about that?

Rad, I have never had an IBU3 YET!!!
But I do have an IBU2 Pro, An ASP, A CLARK TK22 a few RX18s and a couple of TAIGEN 2.4 boards,
The best board by a long way is the IBU2 Pro, You can programme all the sounds into a fitted micro-SD Card, the details of how to set up the IBU 2 are in a very complete manual and of course you can always ask IAN (TANKBEAR) it has one downside if you are building a small Tank such as a Panzer 3 or 4 or a Sherman then it takes up a lot of space,
The ASP is a little bit longer than the RX18 and is probably the closest to true Plug and Play although none of them perform well straight out of the box,
Spend time reading the respective manuals and the improvements you gain are well worth the extra time spent in study.
The ASP does not come with a manual but if you go to the RCTA Forum you can download one from there, It is well worth doing. I bought mine from the RCTA Shop,
The Clark board fits exactly into the RX18 holder and is superior to it in every way but do be aware that you will need more than just the board to get the best from it including a jumper (a few pennies)and a specific TV remote to programme it (Lots of Pennies)I bought mine from-

Rad I have just been to --
http://www.rctanksaustralia.com
It shows the ASP as being sold out,
Some time ago I wanted a couple of "Vipers" (Potentiometers on a board) but they were shown as out of stock, A week or two later MichaelC on this forum told me he had two new Vipers for sale, of course I bought them and complained about companies advertising stuff which they don't have in stock,
KEVEN the RCTA Shop boss and inventor of most of the stuff he sells came back to say he had just found some at the back of a draw!!
So you might like to e-mail him to see if he has an ASP in the back of the drawer?

Hi! I already have a Ibu2 pro that I use in the panzer III of my avatar, so I know how it works and Im happy with it.
About the asp I know its out of stock and Kevin is working in a upgraded version, I write in his forum too, so as soon as he re stocks I will buy one for sure.
But just curious, why you say IBU 2 pro is best than a ASP in a long way? The ASP comes with tons of nice features...
