Silverexpress, not sure! Board's fuses blew. 2 mosfets controlling right reverse blow. With the way things have been going I probably did something wrong and didn't know it.

Wish to ask this question just one more time! SHOULD THE RECEIVER RED LED BE ON? mine flickers when the battery is hooked up but that is it.

This is the original receiver that came with the original IBU2 and transmitter. Ian sent the new board back to me with my receiver attached (correctly)

How do I "bind" receiver and transmitter?

Do you have the wire loop that plugs into the little receiver?

It gets plugged into the receiver and you push the bind button on the transmitter. Look up on line your receiver and see where the loop wire plugs in for the binding process. Not sure which one you have so I don't want to tell you the wrong one.

This sounds very promising, Jackalope. Well I tried it... answered the one question couldn't get answer to...
the red LED on the receiver is supposed to be ON. Mine is not. So now I guess the receiver is not functioning. How in the h*^%%$ does this crap continue to happen. I think its time to take it to the range and blow the heck out of it with the M14. Gees!!

O'Neill Hi.
I assume the transmitter you have is a Turnigy 9x or the Flysky equivalent if so this is the process for binding the receiver to the transmitter.
You will need a battery holder able to take 4 "AA" battery's with a plug the same as the bind plug, (Hobbyking stock this item for just a few $) .
Plug in the BIND PLUG in the top socket of the receiver, Where in red is written BIND!
Next PLUG in the Battery holder in the socket immediately below the Bind plug marked in red BATT!
There should now be a flashing red light on the Receiver !
Press the small button on the back of your transmitter marked "BIND RANGE TEST" and keep it pressed in,
NEXT
NOW Switch on your Transmitter, as you switch on the transmitter with the button still pressed if you watch the receiver you will see the flashing red light instantly becomes steady

If that has happened you have now bound your receiver to your transmitter,
Do not forget to switch off the transmitter,
The receiver will remain bound to it even after you have disconnected both the Bind plug and battery box neither of which should be needed any longer Although I always tape the bind plug to the side of the receiver just in case I should need to rebind it.
I hope that helps.
If you need a Manual for the Transmitter you can download one from the RCTA site although it will mean signing up but that's free and it has a good Forum with plenty of names you will recognise.
