The other trick I used is to take a receiver binding plug, pop one of the leads from the end and slot it into the middle. I then put a colour heat shrink tube on the wires so I know it is a programming plug and not a bind plug anymore.

I understand it needs programming that's cool. I'm just a little unsure of myself.
Spent an hour scouring local electronics shop and no said jumper. Even went to the local rc hobby shop where one person sort of knew what it was but they didn't have any. Where can I order one and what's the correct model? Any quick fixes ? Can I cut off a servo wire and somehow use that?

Mark, it is just any 2 pin jumpers like these:

Or these:

You must also has one of these to bind the receiver to the radio which you can then modded by pulling out one of the leads and inserting into the middle:

If you have never done it, you need to use a small flathead screw driver and lift the plastic tab up so it won't catch the lead when you pull it out.

Clark board by default does not have servo elevation enabled. You will need to go into programming mode and change it. Do you have the remote and also the jumper to put it into programming mode ? If you do then go into programming mode, and press the POWER button until the LED flashes 4 times. Now you are in servo elevation mode and you can save the setting.

You might find the Clark servo elevation mode has a very limited range. I usually end up mapping the servo to a open channel and control it directly with the radio.

Michael I got the parts from rc tanks of OKC and tried programming the elevation. Nothing changed
:( any tips?
Cheers Mark

Mark,

You got the Clark into the programming mode, right ? And press power button on the remote until the LED flashes 4 times ?

The elevation servo (J4) should be plugged in next to the recoil servo (J2).

This should work. Do you hear the elevation sound effect ?
