Good evening,
By any chance does your TX have those sliders on it which were used to correct the tank driving off to one side or the other when it should have been driving straight on? If so, check that one of them isn't too far to one side. That will cause a motor to run continuously when it has been nudged by accident.
regards and good luck,
Painless

His problem is that it runs the track even with the transmitter turned off. The motor plugged into the left side power port keeps running unless he turns off the power switch on the tank off, so the TX shouldn't be part of the problem.

G.G,
Thanks for the clarification. Yes, that is very unusual.

Will be interested to see if replacing it fixes the problem. Like I said, I don't think anyone has ever reported having such a problem.

I was talking to a friend of mine tonight who is a electrician, just for a little input, and he thinks a switch on the board malfuctioned. By replacing the board he thinks it will be fine. But only time can tell, lm hoping the new board shows up next week, and i can start some upgrades.

Yea micro electronic switching is way over my head,

but I guess just like in large enough to be visible relays that you could actually see to check them, the invisible ones could suffer the same kind of sticking type failure.

I haven't said anything so far in this thread because you've been in the best of hands and those guys know more than I, but I do want to say that I'm very glad you got it fixed and running properly again. Is this your first tank? Thoughts so far? Having fun?
So how about some photos of that beast?

Glad to hear you fixed it. Like I said earlier I don't think anyone has ever reported such a problem with the rx board.
