Yes Max I've got a soft spot for mine it was the first 1/16 tank I bought..nearly two years ago now, I won't be needing those LED 's Max but thanks for the kind offer. GreenGiant cheers for the advice I think will try taking that 3mm off and change a few other bits and bobs on the tank...I'll have to check again if taking the 3mm off will effect the gears I thought there would be just enough room..

3mm should not be much of a problem but you still may have to move the headlights back a bit and sand off a bit of the front and rear of the upper hull to get the front top and bottom to match up when screwed together.
You will also find the gearboxes are to tall for the top and bottom to go back together. I solved that problem by heating the lower hull and pushing the fronts of the gearboxes down a bit being careful not to have them cant to the side which would make the rear sprockets not square with lower hull. I believe others have modified the gearboxes to get the same result.
Do you happen to know anything about the light arrangement for the front? There are a total of five if you count the one that HL put the LED in, but I'm pretty sure that's something to do with IR tech for night vision. Then for the two pairs, I think the inner lights are not regular headlights and should be black or very, very dark red, but I'm not at all positive about that, that's why I ask you, Giant, so can you help a hippie out?
