They open at 10 am so I'm leaving the house at 9:30 am, I already have 2 5100mah batteries fully charged and waiting. As soon as I get home I'll start with the pictures.
You gonna let us in on the deal you got on it :shifty:

That's the exact system I have. You have the Spectrum radios, right? I started with mine on the el-cheapo Hobby King T6 and that worked pretty good, and the pot is handy for the viper, but I just put it on the Flysky i10 and now it's even better. That radio is so easy to set up, I didn't have any trouble assigning the right pot to the right channel, and still have two more pots for stuff like a movable MG and maybe a TC with a head that turns back and forth? There's a TON of room in this tank, so I should be able to get all kinds of bells and whistles, and eventually I'll learn how to assign stuff like lights on/off to individual switches. I still want TRAVERSE!! I have the airsoft units from a Sturmtiger, and that has traverse, are you any good with custom mods like that, Terry? I have two units, I might be willing to send you one if you think you can figure out how to mount it. If you do, PM me and I'll send any photos of the unit you need to figure out if you think it can be done. I also have a sturmtiger to compare to.

Waiting for laptop battery to charge to upload pics. Have to go to work at 6 this evening so I have to get a nap, pics may not be up till tomorrow.

Even though the paint is great and the stock smoker works surprisingly well I must say the track recoil when fired is horrible! The whole damn gun barrel jumps up and down! This has got to go!

All in all a very nice piece, a VERY BIG piece at that! This thing is longer then a King Tiger by over an inch! Metal lower with torsion bar suspension, tracks, road wheels, drive sprockets, idler wheels, metal hatches and engine cover. Deff a welcome addition to my little fleet.

Note the Tiger I, it is in the middle of its re-paint. I tried decals for the first time and when I went to add the weathering they were ruined halfway through the weathering so a re-do is needed.

This is also the first look at my King Tigers re-paint and re-do. Added some damage to the zim coating, also added the correct bow machine gun. Beyond the cosmetic re-do its basicly the same beast that can run for 5 hours straight off road.

Future plans for the Jagdtiger are to cut off and replace the fake travel lock with a working one. Aber tow cables. Possibly a new gun barrel if this ones length is proved wrong. Biggest mod will be the redoing of the gun controls as the factory set up is junk! Also fill the stupid LED that lights up when its fired.

Terry, that's such a sweet tank, and I'm so glad you got one, I'd like to send it a little welcome home present. How about a komodo board to get rid of the track recoil until the budget allows an IBU? PM your address and I'll get one in the mail on Monday. Free of charge, naturally.

Just clip that LED wire. You still have to fill for accuracy, would a co-ax MG be appropriate in these? Have to watch "Inside the Tanks" again. Let me put that here

Some good stuff in that one, eh? Porsche chassis on this one, though, Henschel on ours.

What do you think about trying to get traverse? Any ideas?

Never heard of that board Max, no idea how to hook it up ma need sone help there Max. Thank you very much! But what do I do for a transmitter? I've already ordered it's new working travel lock, well as soon as the invoice arrives in my in box I will that is.

The main gun, ah yes, no traverse at all out of the box but fear not I have a plan! It seems as though the wiring is there it just doesn't hook to anything. I'm thinking take a high torque full rotation servo with a cam mounted to make it move side to side once mounted on a tray that will also hold a 2nd high torque full rotation servo that will control it's up elevation. Once I get into it I'll make sure to post pics and a how to for you so you can follow along. May take me a week or so to get the bugs worked out so just stay tuned.

The komodo is easy to install and it works with stock electronics. All it does is get rid of recoil, but that's what I like!

I'll have to do a video so you can see how the system in the Sturmtiger works. That has both elevation and traverse with stock electronics.

Very nice jacks

You are one lucky tanker :D most of my new purchases have to be hidden from her indoors until the coast is clear :haha: then smuggled into the attic room to blend in with the rest of the fleet ;D , very nice details out of the box on this one, following along and looking forward to seeing the changes you are going to make ,

Cheers, Lee.

All three look great Jack..love that camo on your Tiger 1 looks awesome mate, I've never heard of those Komodo boards either, if I had one of those and proportional smoker I don't think I'd bother with IBU 2's I'd rather save that money and use it for more tanks..I agree with Lee on the Jagdtiger does look very nice straight out the box..
