BAM, got $260.52 refunded! Had a nice long talk with the office manager and asked her why if the ultrasound is less then the x-ray and that's what showed he was full of cancer that wasn't done 1st? Told her that had it we wouldn't have needed to spend the almost $300 more? She agreed and I was refunded $260.52 which was the money above the ultrasound and the charge to put him to sleep and dispose of his body.
Poor little guy he must have been miserable with all that cancer in him.

Hi Jack, sorry to hear about Churchill, but he will at least have had a peaceful departure. We have endured the loss of many pets in our lifetime and it is never easy, they are not just an animal but a valued and loved member of the family. Thoughts are with you and hope you find consolation in the rest of your family of pets and can soon remember the good and funny times with Churchill rather than the sad and annoying experience with the vet.
All the best
Alwyn

Terry,
I suspect a lot of us understand. For me, bringing home poor Churchill's issues from your posts brought home losing Wish in 2014. I miss my grrl every day and it has taken two years and Waylon driving me crazy all of the time while he grows up to bring me to the point of acceptance. Dealing with someone else' sadness is tough but you are a friend to many here, including me so we do what we can. In this case it is understanding and the best feelings we can convey through words. I'm glad you got this sorted and sad that you have lost your furry friend.
regards,
Painless

You're very welcome. I've been there too. Being ripped off, or robbed by anyone, at anytime, is bad- but when the evil lever of emotional blackmail is used; in this case the the unique loving bonds we form with out animal companions- then that's as mean and low as it gets. I hope you find the time and peace to mourn him now...

Thanks guys I really mean it. Sorry to bum anyone out or open any wounds that was never my intent.
For everyone who has lost a little furry friend I am so sorry for your loss.
Once again thank you to everyone for their thoughts, well wishes, and prayers for Churchill. He was just way to far gone to help poor guy.
