Thank you all. Yes, the rust is painted with pigments, I use the ones made by Mig. First I try and texture the surface using sandy paste, after that different acrylic colors and washes,followed by the pigments.
For the mud I use both: sandy paste and Tamiya patty diluted with plastic cement. For the wet finish, tamiya clear coat soaked in a sponge to "wet" certain areas while keeping others dry

The tank is made by Heng Long and measures 18cm by 33cm gun not included.
