That would be fantastic! With the new asiatam chassis it would be nice to replace the plastic road wheels with heavy duty metal ones.

This is sort of what I had in mind, mostly because I like the airfilters, but wanted a late cupola, and other late era parts.

I wonder when these will hit the market? They look awesome! Is that actual rubber tires?
Cheers,

I am currently making a set from two sets of late model metal wheel sets. Turned down and v-grooved to accept rubber o-rings,these orings are v-grooved on the inside radius, and flat on the outside radius. You can find these used in late 90 model kawasaki twine piston brake calipers, these are the piston o-rings inside the caliper. The problem now is kawasaki wants about 6.20$ per o-ring.Now the machine work is done on a valve lathe, useing a bolt and two nuts as the stem.will post finished product soon.SAX

How on earth does anyone try Kwacker master cylinder O rings on a custom made set of Tiger road wheels?? What goes on in the deepest recesses of the committed modellers mind?? lol
I wish I hadn't looked at this thread...I put a vid of my Tiger on You Tube and some bright spark decides to post a comment telling me I have the wrong wheels on there, as if I had any alternative!

Ok guys it's the caliper o-rings not the master cylinder.I believe I have found a new o-ring supplier,Dixie bearing co.Here in Memphis,tn..Once I work all this out I will post a detailed how-to.And once we have a o-ring part number then your local industrial bearing supplier in the u.k. can cross reference the part number.SAX
