Here's what I mean

When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Yup...Guess you are out of luck Jake...doing from scratch is your only outlet....I think Painless got a Schumo Antenna for one of his Shermans....not sure what happened...but I no longer see that antenna listed anywhere
With that said ...like Max said...antenna are pretty easy to fabricate....you can do it with sprue for the sections and go from there ;) ...did a flexie for Painless for his second Sherman...guess it was good enough that he used it Both of mine are from scratch.....using the stock HL antenna

Now...with all that said....When did you get a Sherman??? :O

Hey Max, that's very kind of you..I purchased a couple of those boat aerials last night from ebay I was going to see what I could do with those..I'm sure your ones would be a lot closer to what I wanted than mine, but its to much hassle for you to go through just for me to have a couple of antenna's, thankyou very much for the offer tho :) ......Alpha yea jake got a Sherman, I fancied Cannned's Chilean when I saw it up for sale, so had to buy it :P

Cheers

Hello Jake , how about guitar strings ? the thicker types are wound wire springs - one string would be enough for a lifetimes supply of bendy bases :D B .
to the bouncy room ! Yay !

LOL....For some reason that thought already entered my mind....had a hunch it was the Sherman Canned had up for sale..you're kind of lucky...that tank was actually built by Fynsdad...currently running by member name Frankie :D
You should do a build thread so we can all pick and prod you :haha: :haha: :haha: ...What can I say...Shermans are a lot of fun

I guessed Frankie was Fynsdad, had no idea he built the Sherman, thought it was Canned's build...I like it as is, doesn't need a great deal doing with it, electric's some other bits and bob's maybe repaint and weather..Build thread hmmmm I suppose it's about time I done one, think i'd prefer doing one start of build tho, Tam's Panzer iv kit might be a goodie..:)

Hey Blimp yea I heard about the guitar string before, I bought the boat aerials now, I'm going see how they work out.. thanks fella..

Yup the signature on that tank is the exhaust....as far as I know..he was the first one to do that modification...it's almost as recognizable as his Pin Ups ;)

If you like it as it is...no need for a build thread...maybe a paint thread lol....and if you just so happen to meet up with Frank...maybe throw a hint for one of his pin ups.... :haha:

Sorry, Boys, but I'm afraid I have to expose one of the dirty little secrets of the RC Tank world.

It's actually Fyn that does all that fabulous work, Frank just takes all the credit. :haha:  :haha: :/
