after raiding my local model shop for plastic strip in various shapes and brass tube , ive started on the hoist support legs , i cut a small piece of i beam and shaped ,sanded and drilled untill it looked right ,the top piece is before, bottom one after

this was then glued into the brass tube

started on the jib boom , the main strut is a piece of my sons knex kit, which still needs shaping and the cross strut is brass tube with rc plane quick links, this is fixed on the main strut by using a piece of bigger tube slid over the top ,and a bit of brass sheet wrapped around it

just finished soldering the jib boom, after plenty of cursing and burnt fingers ive ended up with a fully operational boom :thumbup:

really cool seeing all these bergpanzers coming about or is it a bad omen for the battling year ahead maybe "clank recovery " could be a viable venture are you guys selling shares yet?
