If I may Alwyn....I would suggest you find "Butterfly Lipo" batteries...they are super compact

A dual leaf like this one...even if the amp rating is low...has surprisingly good play time...I have one in my P IV and will give me about an hour play time for three days ;)

Many thanks Alpha, that looks like just the ticket! presumably I need a LIPO charger as well. Do you have the dimensions for this little beauty as I can think of an ideal place to stow it.

Alwyn

Just tried to find one on evilbay but no joy, do you know where I can get one?

They are super compact...about a half inch wide on each leaf...about a 1/16th of an inch thick and about 3 inches long each...and yes..you will need a lipo charger lol...the Beauty about these is they can be positioned in different ways ;)

Found this Turnigy battery which would fit the bill, but I know zip nada about LIPO, what do I need to do to make this one work?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Turnigy-1600m ... Sw0vBUaeYn

Would this charger do the job?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/iMAX-B6-Digit ... SwMmBVoybf

What wiring changes do I need to use LIPO? 8O :/

The charger looks good...that battery might be almost the same size as the stock HL battery though...maybe an inch or so shorter as it looks to be the type used in helicopters

Are there any airsoft shops in your area?.....I could recommend some in the States that carry Butterfly Lipos ...thing is I'm not sure about your customs polices ...

It's quite small:

Minimum Capacity: 1600mAh
Configuration: 2S1P / 7.4v / 2Cell
Constant Discharge: 20C
Peak Discharge (10sec): 30C
Pack Weight: 85g
Pack Size: 92 x 28 x 19mm
Charge Plug: JST-XH
Discharge plug: Losi mini

Just need to find LOSI plugs now.

Thanks Alpha.

No Problem Alwyn....it does look like a Helicopter or Drone battery so it should work fine :D

Good Luck
