...With Christmas right around the corner....you may well end up with more projects ....With that said...I know how that works...think when I do my Firefly it will be the same lol
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...and it's all one color ...Sometimes I miss seeing the Junk yard Dog photos of a build...Sometimes I don't
Looks Good in Gray Dragon ..Can't wait to see it as the parts filter in
If I had taken delivery of parts in that condition I think I would have had a head fit, so well done for persevering with it. One way to solve the turret misalignment is to get some food wrap and milliput.
Put a bead around the top and bottom halves, then place a sheet of food wrap between them and clamp them together. Leave a couple of days to dry out and then separate them. Remove the food wrap and clamp them back together again, they will be a perfect fit.
All you then need to do is sand the outside surfaces down all the way around while they are clamped. The inside may end up looking a bit rough but the outside will look factory fresh. It's not something that anyone should need to do on new parts, they have got a bit of a cheek sending out goods in that state, reminds me of the early Hooben T55's?
You sure polished up that Potato Turret pretty well there Dragon ...looks nice and solid now ...excellent work ....So I assume there is a BONDO dust cloud floating around somewhere
