its arrived! challenger 2!
Re: is arrived! challenger 2!
I've no updates on IBU3 release so that doesn't help. Although I have started to compile sounds sets for the Leo 2 and Challenger 2 for the IBU3.

Yep, IBU 3 looks the biz, but so does the Clark's TK60, decisions decisions, I think I need a lie down for a bit.
Awesome tank by the way.

Well the Chally 2 sound set for the IBU2 already done, just remind me when you order your IBU2 and I'll include it on the SD card.

Re: is arrived! challenger 2!
Yeah the tk60 looks great but I looked at the wiring diagrams for it and its beyond my meagre skill level! I need to see the full spec in the ibu3 really and see if its worth the wait for me, but its a possible option! All I need now is metal tracks, sprockets, idlers and road wheels, I reckon the leopard 2A6 gearboxs will slot straight in so that's a job for when I can ' officially' open her up, reckon the Mato leopard tracks are a pretty close match/ fit too

Daft as it sounds the IBU2 Challenger 2 sounds have been done over 2 years ago. Now working on the IBU3 as better sound quality have to start it all again from scratch.
Also ordered a set of the DKLM 550 motor/gearboxes to try fit in my Challenger 2 to see how it goes.

Sponge, nothing yet but will do the up armoured version. I will look into the details and see. It really needs a tension adjustment and you need to replace the whole assembly of the idler wheel. Carson from DKLM is doing a CAD now as we are exchanging information on this. Hopefully we will have the updated road wheels as well.spongehoobtank82 wrote:I will have to check DKLM out been seeing alot of there stuff lately, for now will go with what I know though! As regards to the gearbox from DKLM. I have the one from the full metal Leopard 2 chassis and Carson told me that IBU board might not handle it. Maybe Tankbear can shed a light on this. Scallywag told me the cut out is at around 15A but I have no IBU board to try it on. So Tankbear can you verify once you have your 550 GB from Carson.
