Just to add my opinion, stay away from the "Bravo" M2A2 by Unimax. It is truly 1/18 scale and really shows when you put it next to the moderns from the 1/16 Heng/Long and Tamiya. Also, it is not robust enough to be RC. I purchased one a while ago and decided against converting it to RC and ended up finding a Century 21 one on eBay. The Unimax ones are dime and a dozen and can be had for $50-$75. The Century 21 one will set you back close to $200 if you can find one. Here is a picture of the two different versions and you can see the size difference:

These your electric bits from yesterday?

Can't get over how good it looks with a wash/weathering compared to when you started.

scalawag,

This is what I did to mine, servo elevation and servo rotation which gives it the modern AFV type speed on the turret:

This is what it looks like when it is all rig up with the servo rotation and MG on the canon (I cheated and use a larger brass tube and a 30mm muzzle to fit a small LED).

I know it is a bit over the top but it is so much fun !

Paul,
I was wondering if you would do anything with the Tow missile ;o). First rate as usual!
