Those gear boxes are really neat I have them in my panzer 38 t Ideal for smaller models

Yeah I have a set of those...they looked pretty good when I saw them on EBAY....have them sitting at the moment ...but the plan is to put them in a 1/35th scale tank....

...Maybe even the 38t should I get around to it lol

My gearboxes have arrived, now I can start on the drive sprocket, tracks and idler-

Woz, that's the same gear box I'm planning to use in my 251 build. If you wouldn't mind could you post some pics of it built and possibly some measurements please?

Just put them together and its a perfect fit (even room for a good battery)
Sizes-
The output shafts are 3mm diameter and are a bit flimsy so I'm printing some brackets with bearings.

A + B are the high speed outputs (the centre is 3.5mm from the end).
C Low speed output (apporx 17mm from the end).

Bit more done-
Clamps with bearings to give the drive shafts more support
Sprocket and idlers done
21 links wrapped around the sprocket perfectly so that's a good start on the tracks-

Finished the links on one side. They seem to roll OK so now to do the other side then add the tread.
also added a few bits and bobs-
