When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Thats an IDF m50, the m60 (actually the name of the hyper velocity gun) which stu has so excellently modeled in service with the Chilean army had these removed.Max-U52 wrote:Hey Tom, take a look at this photo

That's too bad. I think it looks pretty cool, and I think it would be a cool feature on an RC tank. Especially with FPV for night driving! Was that a strange noise in the backyard? Send the tank to investigate, and ya don't even have to get off the couch.

Now that I think about it, I've always had a Sherman on my Tanks to Build list (I was thinking Easy 8 but then fury made them so popular and that kind of took something out of it for me) and I still want to start with the Tamiya for the HVSS so I guess I just might have to build one of these. And while I'm at it I'm wondering if I can do the jeep. Does that look like a recoilless rifle on there?tomhugill wrote:Thats an IDF m50, the m60 (actually the name of the hyper velocity gun) which stu has so excellently modeled in service with the Chilean army had these removed.Max-U52 wrote:Hey Tom, take a look at this photo

See what ya started, Tom?

But next is the Famo, and I still have lots of stuff waiting to be done, like the Blitz.
Sorry, Stu, didn't mean to go off topic like that.

Run out of Sherman's? THAT would be impossible! How many countries, How many years, How many re-builds, How many improvised improvements? Much like how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, the world may never know!
And NO Alpha it isn't 3!

That's right, Gary. You still have the Pershing to deck out.Max-U52 wrote:Now that I think about it, I've always had a Sherman on my Tanks to Build list (I was thinking Easy 8 but then fury made them so popular and that kind of took something out of it for me) and I still want to start with the Tamiya for the HVSS so I guess I just might have to build one of these.
