Looks good!

Pricey but worth it. I'll have to see how I get on with my Tamiya tub.

Tamiya baskets are beautifully made.

I bought mine through Forgebear as he’s a DKLM dealer, never mind give me chance to practice my airbrush skills.

Odd that it seems faster, surely as using same motors and gearboxes it is on perceived faster, but all change when your 3S arrives. You might have to turn the power down on the IBU2.

Tamiya is ABS or something on the leopard, a metal one would be a nice addition.

Good morning, Paul,
Adding the Tamiya parts for detail certainly gives the tank the best of both worlds\manufacturers. Hybrid builds always turn out amazing with a little extra work and care. Yours is proof.

Awesome.

I "dropped" mine yesterday (actually fell off the seat when I braked the car abruptly to avoid killing a cyclist). It was quite a crash. Fortunately only a few turret bits broke off and the hull looks intact. Definitely got me thinking of getting an alum hull but...

I'd rather spend my money on a Challenger 2 first before getting these metal hulls hehehe

My Leo 2 weighs in at 15 pounds. The M1 is at 16 pounds. Both have lead weights in the hull. I like it heavy and will be adding more weights elsewhere. Will upgrade to JP400 next year also. I plan on strengthening the plastic hulk by giving it "belly armor" which would be either plastic or aluminium with lead weights inside.

Off topic, I've been having loads of fun running these two. Yesterday, I was at a nearby bike trail where RC crawler enthusiasts were also playing. One of them borrowed my Leo and it was such a joy seeing both Leo and M1 running spaced apart on a rolling field of grass like it was in Europe doing movement to contact in WW3 just as gawd intended hehehehe beautiful sight it was. :)
