Yeah...you have to remount the traverse motor...the easiest way is to just cut off the mounts from the HL...and glue them to the Tamiya Hull...couple of ways to do that but it really isn't a hard thing to do

Just an update folks I have shelved my plans as I found that all the bearings and shafts are completely worn out on all the idler wheels as well as worn out bearings in the gearbox I tried to find replacements but they are no longer available so it will have to be a static model.

Doubled sided 3M automotive tape is your friend. It mounts turret traverse motors very nicely and holds them till you pry them off.

....all those parts including the gearboxes are available on EBAY...just saw a gearbox that has been there forever...it's all upgraded and tricked out ...don't give up wizard

the parts are out there...bearings can be had from J's in japan...He's an Ebay seller too

Hi - what do you mean older model? How many models did they bring? I just won an auction for a Tamiya King Tiger and it's got a black box. How do I know which model/version this is?

The easiest way to tell is to look at the gearbox Muscles...The older model has a single clutch driven gearbox...and the new version has two individual gearboxes
