Hi Bet that was the prototype AA version before they changed it to the M16 quad mount.

It kind of grows on you though...the more you look at it...though still very ugly....the unusual placement of the anti aircraft gun...kind of makes sense :crazy:
It's like a General...went on a ship...then that ship got into a battle with some aircraft....a light bulb went off in the general's mind ....and Bam!...let's mount one of those on a Halftrack :haha: :haha:
What hits you visually like a "Brick in the head" is the "crude" looking gun shield in the center photo...a definite after thought :haha:
