and i am going to use a broom for the road wheels as it is handle  the right Diameter

Wo!  jeez thats a monster.

Could you not save yourself a headache with the wheels and use 1/25 or even 1/35 wheels for the running gear?  Save having to cut and drill the bloody things out and as I rememebr it there were quite a few on some pretty complicated bogeys?

Cool stuff though keep up teh good work...
