Ok so I swapped all servo cables for brand new ones, followed the reconfigure guide the fault remained the same, canon firing etc no other inputs working, it then occurred to me that you mentioned channel 1 - 4 at 100% I had cleared all the mixes so the channels were blank when the mixes are blank is that the same as saying 100%? Anyway I added to channels this:

Ch1 100 ch1
Ch2 100 ch2
Ch3 100 ch3
Ch4 100 ch4

Tried reconfigure this time no sound no jerking around but also no inputs from sticks or pots, I've probably gone well off the beaten track, but I figured it's worth a mention

Cheers Jim

Okay, I'm not fully conversed with this radio. So I might have to contact Scalawag for help, unfortunately he's no longer a member on this forum so might take a while. But before I do can you confirm what firmware the radio is running.

Also do you have the ability to load eepe files to your radio? As it might be possible to send you an eepe file for the pro to load onto the radio.

In the version tab it says:
SVN : ersky9x-r1
VERSION: Warsaw
DATE: 24.08.2014
TIME: 08:50:43
MOD: tankERXPro

I do have a PC with windows and ironically epee installed on it already, not sure if eepe works with the pro and I've never actually used it, but I'll start doing some research on it etc, thank you for all your help so far, and I hope you can get in touch with scalawag, is there anything else I might be able to try in the meantime or is it best just to hold tight?

Many thanks Jim

TankER9x (Anzio) is what most people use. Not certain if your firmware is causing the issues or not, I wouldn't of thought it should as your still controlling the channels but who knows.

From what I managed to gather Anzio is for 9xr and Warsaw is for the pro, I'd be quite happy to swap, anything to get me started!

I'm not certain what the difference is between the XR & Pro.

Lol I meant difference on the firmware side. As I'm guessing your current version is aimed at aircraft controls the Anzio is custom tailored to tanks. But like a say I'm not a er9x pro user I only got a 9x recently and started playing with firmware mods etc in the last week. :S

Scalawag is the guy in the know so hopefully he can help.

Guess that shows how new I am to rc, That and the fact I can't read! I'm not sure what the difference is not a strong skill of mine, here is were I found the firmware tho:

http://www.rctanksaustralia.com/forum/v ... =154&t=891

I'm guessing it is tank based though as the tx has tank stuff on it.

Okay Jim,

Good find, it looks like that firmware will work better for your radio. If you download it and PM me your email address I'm sure between us we can get it loaded onto your radio.
