I have served my time with white metal and plastic gears... I just got myself a new tiger and the box is already in the bin along with the tracks lol....

I have ordered a 4:1 box from rctankder or whatever it's called but the DHL link is in German.... so still no idea what it's saying ha

Yeah DHL does that. RCtanksde. usually doesn't provide tracking info unless you ask for it when you order. Been there done that!

On your Tiger check out the metal lower hull from Taigen it's great, I have one in each of my Tigers.

My last two big orders from rctank.de both shipped with DHL but were fulfilled in the UK by Parcel Force. I was able to track them using the DHL shipping number on Parcel Force Track and Trace, so that might be worth trying. This only works when it lands in the UK, but both of mine took about 3-4 working days to arrive.

P.S, another tip, if you use Google Chrome on Mac or PC rather than Safari/Internet Explorer, it will auto-translate the language to English. I use it all the time to buy from Amazon.de, saving me loads compared to buying in the UK.

A question, how do you get the three small upper track wheels off, do they just pull out? Could give it a try but don't want to break them.

Thanks

They are a be-otch to get off.... I split them then poked the axles out from the inside using a soldering iron to melt the plastic ever so slightly... its um....tricky I advise caution

I got them 4:1 boxes in the end... slight issue around one of the motors binding however.... but from what use I did get out of them the power is fantastic... The overall speed is a lot slower but it will plough through anything now or just try drive up it :haha:

I am going to upgrade the motors even more than the ones that come with it for speed and power...

I will definitely be needing metal suspension for this though... that's next month purchase...

every good bit of enginnering needs a week link thats easy to fix and will be the first to go under stress to save the expensive parts, think they could do with a clutch on them tbh

It is so hard to find metal wheels, suspension arms and shock absorbers for this tank... I can find them sold in singles or in pairs but just cannot find a whole set? What u do find is on the other side of the world driving the postage right up!!

Why does nobody make these parts and sell them in the UK.....
