Re: update 9 march something a bit different ...T29E3
I love this build! It is going to make one mean tank and worth all the effort that will be required. It's already looking an absolute belter.

hi all
update time ...it dont look like i've done that much ..but .
the hull been reinforced ...an the hull front has a new glasic plate ..set at the correct angle which is
much much more shallow ....and replace the side storage bin to for the correct arrangement ...
also added a set of a set of steel sprockets ..and ive seen on evilbay a complete set of metal road wheels and correct suspension arms ..which interest me alot ..but the shipping cost has more or less killed that idea ?
any way less chat more pics ..

This beast must be almost Leopard 2A6 size? Looking good so far Iain, it makes a change to see someone do one of the US super heavy tanks.

It still amazes me how the armies of the world are building bigger and bigger targets. When I was in the service with the US Army the M60 was big and the m551 Sheridan was small. The really huge tank prototypes on tank row at Aberdeen Proving Ground were thought of as freak attempts at making bigger better. Now almost all the newest main battle tanks make those prototypes look small.

All the tanks, armor, guns, everything all of it is gone from Aberdeen been moved to Ft.Lee in Virginia. The building is empty, the field of tanks is now just a field of concrete pads they used to sit on. The German railroad gun is gone too all thats left are the railroad tracks. We took the chassis out of there but the gun was shipped by truck.
