Joe, If you want to remove those tools just pour a little "ZAP7" Debonder on the pins on the underside of the body and work the tools and they will come free, do remember to clean the debonder off the body when you have finished.

Thanks Shaun, I think they look pretty good as is. I don't see the need to replace them at this time. I've never used a ca debonder, along with working on the ca., I have to assume that it will soften the surrounding plastic. Hence your warning to wipe it off.

Hi Joe, Those tools look good so I am not surprised you are keeping them, as to the debonder, there are two types, 1/removes CA from skin. 2/The other (ZAP7) breaks down and eats CA, it does not harm plastic. The reason I always advise people to clean it off immediately it has been used is because if later you fit some thing else and you have forgotten to clean away the debonder you will not get the fresh application of CA to "TAKE"

OK Shaun, thank you again. I will purchase both types.

I don't know if the new Taigan Tiger 1 does (mine has molded on tools) but Tamiya has separate tools. For hatches you need to buy the mechanism for them but they're fairly cheap. Taigan hatches open as standard.
