I'm with you Painless, if it is a choice between going without /making it myself or buying someone else's efforts then I will usually take the latter course, I cannot think of one part that I have purchased except tracks and gearboxes that did not need some work to get it just RIGHT! It is part of the build and I would not have it otherwise. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Jarndice,
I understand this completely including David's being absolutely right about the Tiger mud flap. We're dealing with 60-70 years of sometimes misunderstood information as well as pictures flipped from left to right while editing, etc. The Tiger 1 is a well documented vehicle tho' with existing examples that are fairly complete to learn from. I made this mistake the other day about Mato's white metal periscope guards that are supposedly for the 'Pershing and Sherman'. I had mistakenly assumed that they were just shoddy workmanship when they are actually perfectly made, just for another tank, the Walker Bulldog. The fault lies with Mato selling them in five packs and marketing them for other tanks when only one is needed for the Walker. *chuckles* I'm glad An-Bri-RC is there, at the end of all this rambling. Like Phil said, his stuff takes some cleanup but the beauty of it lies in the price and also the availability of some things never found elsewhere.
regards,
Painless

Someone does make exhaust flappers. And I spent all that time scratch building them. :haha:

i too have used this seller several times and always found him very quick, very reasonable and although yes sometimes you have to do a bit of fettling to the parts they are great when finished and painted on the tank. i have always used him through internet auction site and he does some things you cannot find elsewhere.
