Hi Gary As Tamiya have unlimited access to Bovington the kit they made was not a exact copy , they had the colour and the markings , they could have included in the kit all the damaged parts needed to make it correct so leaving the builder the choice of making an exact copy or a standard tiger. But Tamiya being a tight bunch would never do this .

Rob I have done a Tiger 100 which the Russians captured and a Jumbo first in Bastogne

Sorry, when I said "Africa Tiger" I didn't mean "131" though it was in Africa... I should have been more clear. I mean the Tigers of s.Pz.Abt. 501 which are unlike any other unit's Tigers.

Tamiya's big "131" is pretty good, by the way.
