Nice looking Sherman. But the folding rear storage rack did have a row of welded on strap holders on its top and bottom. If you would use something to represent them ( I use a very small thin flat copper wire glued in place even cut paper strips can be threaded though them to represent the straps ) the items on the rack would not have to be held on by your rope. Only those on the rear deck. Would make for a less cluttered look with the rope only holding down the items on the rear deck.

Hi Great looking Sherman very nice paint and weathering, one thing you should think about is adding a trailer most 105s had one to carry extra ammo see here for trailer http://www.rctank.de/Ammunition-trailer-M332-1-16-basic
would set off great

MartinL wrote:Looks really good! I got the HL Sherman from the missus at Christmas as my first RC and I'm looking at things like stowage at the moment. I'm still in the "daren't do anything that might ruin the expensive tank" stage so I'm not looking at weathering etc just yet but I really like the appearance you've created here.
What did you use for the rope? I've had one failed attempt using 1.5mm jewellery chord- damn stuff wouldn't bend! I've got an order in for 1mm elastic cotton so I'm hoping this will do the job.
Cheers,
Martin
Hi Martin.it's just cheap string from hobby craft. Think it was £2.50, for 100 meters regards.ray

105 ammo trailers look like this in their light duty form. The 1/16th scale kit for the 332 is the heavy duty 1 1/2 ton version and has straight frame rails.

I've been looking for a US howitzer or at least something close in size or appearance for quite a few years now to do the same conversion. I think the only option is a scratch build.
I don't think the trailer they offer is the M10 but a lighter duty model that was more of a general purpose large trailer for hauling munitions to artillery units rather then being hauled by the tank type howitzers. I'll have to research that a little more.

Nice looking Sherman rayzzer-b, I like all of your stowage. I use Tamiya paints to dye my rope when I feel the need.
