Hello Wingnut46,

If you've been into RC cars then your speed controllers have probably had a lipo cutoff within them, the tanks don't. I run 2s lipos in my tanks but only with lipo alarms attached. They are cheap, between 3-10.00 us. They will keep you from having a cell drop below 3.3 volts. Lipo safety my friend, Lipo safety, can't stress it enough.

Whats the biggie with Lipos then? never worked with them?

Wingnut, Something that I should have said earlier is that when you get a new LI-PO battery it will arrive HALF CHARGED and so the first thing to do after checking it is undamaged is to put it on a LI-PO CHARGER, a NICD/ NIMH charger will not do. :thumbup: :thumbup: shaun
