Re: Modelling desk light...
Brian you won't regret it, when you switch it on it gives out a very bright light and when you bend the flexi arm and lift up the top cover you have an illuminated high power magnifier, excuse the pun but it is brilliant, it looks good as furniture and it is great as a workshop aide.

HMMMMMMMMMM...Starting to wonder about your navigation skills WO2c....it took me four tries following your instructions....to find thisjarndice wrote:Brian Hi, this is a bit involved but it is the best table/desk/magnifier/lamp I have ever owned and right now it is on offer, I cannot recommend this too highly, go to http://www.robertdyas.co.uk
click on DEPARTMENT,
click on LIGHTING,
click on INDOOR LIGHTING,
click on TABLE and DESK LAMPS,
go to sub page 2,
scroll down 3 lines it is the one on the right.
On sale for £19.99 worth every penny.![]()
:thumbup and you can buy it on line or if you have one of their stores near by get it from there.shaun

a lot of searching could have been avoided by just posting the page for it like this

Lucky I'm an officer....others would give up and purchase the remote controlled R2D2 on the home page

Thanks Shaun
Never been called a hero before

Re: Modelling desk light...
Briz...definitely get one...takes a little getting used to when using the magnifier ...but well worth the dollar...I have two....one uses a circular florescent the other is made for a standard incandescent but I use a 40 what florescent bulb in it...both work well
An additional good investment is a pair of these

adjustable magnification... I got one from EBAY for under 9.00 US
