But ran into an issue with the internal exhaust pipe work, the upper motor was squashing one of pipe against the upper hull and I was losing flow to the lefthand exhaust pipe

Soooooo set my mind to a solution and came up with this

Got loads of clearance now and because of the twin in/out of the air box I get a nice even flow of smoke form both exhaust pipes :)

Nice solution to the smoker & motor clash issue.

I did a little running vid

Loving this tank at the mo and the money spent on the IBU2 was well worth it :)

DH,
You have one of the best running tanks out there from HL. Great video, the IBU really does justice to the Fun Quotient! I burst out laughing and smiling at the singing and slogans. Scale or real, the KV series are a lot of tank. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3G7HAOXjIE

Where do you find the Polish TARR smoker? Is there a webpage for it describing it? Is it proportional and linked to the motors?

It's works pretty well and the main thing is it's nice and quiet compared to the crappy stock ones, I don't know of any online references to them,I'm just took a punt on it and it came good. At the mo its wired into the IBU2 so it fires up on engine start and then proportional to engine revs, I cheat in my vids and pre-warm it and then stop/start the engine for a nice smoke puff on start up lol

I bought it off ebay, ill go find a link

Got round to doing the 360 servo conversion on the turret

Still a bit of noise, but much better/quieter than stock

Link to smoker

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 1159201874

Check his other items as well, he does a cheaper version with a plastic box instead of alloy, but I went for the alloy one as its a little bit smaller and room in the KV is at a premium

Got my 9XR Tank Ed today

Within an hour it's all working, well apart from the 3 extra user sounds, I can only play one for some reason, I've also fitted a Viper volume control which works off one of the pots on the RX
