I've only found two pics of a M50's one with the continental radial, it has vvss and quite a few with the hvss and diesel engine.
Your build looks excellent.
Have you given any thought to doing a vvss version?

I have actually! I've got another lot of parts, currently it's going to be a clone of this one, however I'm quite tempted to do an early m50 with vvs. The other alternative is a chillean m60

You certainly are a builder with no set time period or country limitations. I try to stick with WW2 , Korea and postwar US tanks.
I would like to see the early m50 myself. The Israeli and their enemies builds of the Sherman hulls for different uses is very interesting .

Yea it seems like just about every middle eastern country did that conversion or used ones captured during one of the wars there. I think I've seen pictures of it in Israeli, Jordanian and Egyptian Museums.
That would be quite a build since the whole turret would have to be scratch built.
