Welcome chris to the forum, i was stationed in Germany back in mid eighties for 3 years. While there went to La Gleize to see the king tiger there and Bastoigne. W e also used to go up to the Eiffiel to look after a signals site right next to Huertgen forest, that was amazing relics lying on the ground still, picked up a link of sherman track where a farmer had ploughed it up which i took with me. Lots of bits of american uniform and bits of boots etc too which was saddening. Also found in concrete mg pillbox in the forest 2 small ration tins usa still there forty years after. But i expect by now relic hunters have picked area clean.
