I use tamiya paints through an iwata revolution cr. It's a low pressure brush so it's very economic on paint. Thinned by 30% with x-20 thinners, a single 23ml pot will do an entire 1:16. For hand brushing I tend to use Vallejo and Ak interactive. Tamiya acrylics are terrible for brushing without a paint retarder.
Don't forget to get some airbrush cleaner. The Medea stuff can be found on eBay.
