Oh yes i must fit a bucket de rigeur and sort a jack. further developing news just had a look on ebay and ordered a Taigen metal exhaust setup from forgebear for it even better detailed than the resin mantles i have.

Nice job tiger tiger think I will be looking on E-bay from now on lol

Well in he photos of the bulge...saw there was still a lot of clearance between the gearboxes and glacis plate... My suggestion was to just cut out the bulge with a dremel saw sand down the zim...and glue a thin (blister pack type plastic) over it and redo the zimm...in the end he never said which way he did it ..as there were a few suggestions...but that was my suggestion...and he did solve the battle of the bulge

Here is a similar solution that will take a little more time but will yield a solid glacis plate again ( for bumping into stuff which will be inevitable if you drive it outside ). Use a scribing blade on an Exacto handle and carefully scribe out the edges of the bulge. The plastic is thick so patience and care will be required but at the end, you should have a neat rectangular hole there in the glacis. Lay the removed bump down on a sheet of plasticard the same thickness as the plastic making the glacis up. trace around it and cut out the new piece with the scribing blade. A little sanding work ( if needed ) and a mix of superglue gel and the sanded out plastic frags will yield a solid patch in your glacis plate that will withstand rough use again. Use milliput or your material of choice to repair the zim pattern, paint to match and off you go.

NO PROBLEMO TIGER ...just remember when using that blister pack material...scuffing is a good thing to do on both sides...before gluing it in place and replacing the zimm...the beauty of this method is no disassembley required....the rotating saw will take away that bump in no time flat... sanding the zim...just get some 80 grit and wrap it around a small block of wood and go like crazy lol...but just enough so you have a flat surface

Heres the new metal Taigen exhaust setup fitted and painted. Also the jack holders are now metal and came with the set, all now the same size unlike the originals fitted that came with it. i took ff the exhaust mating flanges from the original pipes and slipped them over new metal ones to give two mating flanges with bolt detail.

Those exhausts are pretty nice...got a set for my Tamiya ...Your KT is really coming to life Tiger
