hi guys fitted the asiatam unit the recoil works but elevation wont , I have mine set up so down on the transmitter is the recoil & up is the elevation[ barrel up/down][done by switching the yellow &green wires from the asiatam unit around at the old pcb end] but iff I connect it so recoil is up on transmitter & down is elevation[ barrel up/down] then elevation works but recoil wont , tanker 242.

What you have on the P.C.B.is 1 positive, 2 neutral trigger recoil should plug in to RX. Do you have photo of your connections.Regards Ray.

sorry rayzzer-b don't have a photo but I can explain the set up ,on the new HL 2.4ghz set up they have done away with the small pcb & the gun elevation & recoil wires from the asiatam unit [ 1red, 1green 1yellow] plugs directly into a white three pin socket on the hull top [next to the 8pin on the hull top] instead of the pcb like on the old system, where the wires where connected red in middle yellow one side green outher side ,iff you switch the yellow & green around on the old pcb system the[ recoil becomes down on the left stick & elevation becomes up on the left stick] , I have put it so down on left stick is recoil [recoil works][up left stick elevation don't work] iff I put it the outher way round [up left stick as recoil down left stick elevation]elevation works recoil don't work] tanker 242

Hi 242 ..if im right in my thinking.. When I fitted It the yellow and blue are trigger wires the red is power to elevation..you should have a thicker red wire which is a negatives needs to go negative on battery switch..and two wires think thay blue an white need connecting together.used to be switch wires.hope this ok if not P.M me ..Ray

Hi Tanker 242 as Ray says the thick red wire to neg is important, the first recoil I fitted in a tiger wouldn't work until I spliced the thick red wire into the negative from the power switch.

hi KT, like I say the thick red wire[ in my case thick black wire] is connected to the negative power lead & I have recoil but no elevation, heng longs bb unit on the t34/85 2.4ghz, now has red white black wires with three pin connection to hull top next to the 8 pin, instead of the small pcb, so spliceing yellow asiatam wire to white wire ,green asiatam wire to black wire ,& red asiatam to red wire you can plug in to hull top using the wires cut from the bb unit [or if you have a 3 pin plug to connect to the red, yellow, & green, asiatam wires] you can, plug straight in to hull top, [connecting [red to red],[ yellow to white,] [green to black], I get recoil but no elevation if I connect[ red to red], [yellow to black], [green to white],i get elevation but no recoil, tanker 242.

tanker, you did connect the white and the blue wire together right on the asiatam recoil unit ? I usually just unsolder one of them and use the other one to connect the two. This might explain while you only get power to one or the other and not both at the same time.

hi michaelC yes I connected the blue & white on the asiatam together , but I might give your way a try & unsolder the white & connect the blue directly to the outher motor , but I still need a small white male three pin connector for the end of the asiatam wires [red, green, yellow] so I can plug straight in to hull top as HL t34/85 has a three pin connection[female]on the hull top instead of the small SQ: pcb next to the 8 pin main connector tanker 242
