I have the Voyager sets, all of them, for the Tiger I. I think the Aber sets come with a few extra pieces but not worth the price tag even remotely.

The Voyager kit comes with pretty much everything you could possibly need. Anything else scrap building will suffice.

FYI, the Voyager kits total up to about $110 USD at most, the Aber kits are about $300 USD, almost three times the price!! TFTM said he paid under $60 for all the kits, that's a hell of a savings over the Aber price. I too bought mine early into release for a cheap price as well, about $60.

This is the quality of the Voyager kit in the hands of an amature, as I'm sure you've seen.

Check out what TFTM shared with us a while back. This inspired me to go the Voyager route.

On top of that people actually say the Voyager clamps are better than the Aber ones.

It looks amazing,i would be so worried about breaking it of while off roading or in a tank battle, it would all have to be bolted down not super glued into position for me anyway. I'm way to clumsy, I would not it off myself.

PE stuff looks great.....up close :haha: ...good if you are sponsored by a magazine who is going to to an up close photo shoot lol....but at my age and with my eyesite...probably half of the detail would just disappear at five feet away... I usually run my tanks farther than that...so who's going to really see it ... I just do my tanks for fun...as well as run them for fun... no one really around who would appreciate the detail or hard work that goes into installing those micro parts...but I pretty much just speak for myself...there are members who have achieved some nice results with these kits...it's just not my cup of tea so to say ;)

My King Tiger is already past the $900 mark and weighs almost 25 pounds and I have more metal parts on the way! I'm thinking all said and done it'll be $1000 and 26 to 28 pounds. But DAMN it looks FANTASTIC! :haha: Just no one tell my wife! :haha:
You're an ambitious builder Jack :D ...more power to you man...you gotta get some photos up though ;)

I got the grills but I'm really liking those fenders! To be honest I'm not sure what the first link is? :{ These do need to be put together with solder correct?

You can use anything you like to assemble the kit. I tried superglue first but was really unhappy with it's strength. After switching to solder paint I won't use anything but. Solder is 10x stronger than glue and should be more than adequate for rough off-road running.

The first link is detail parts, clamps, locks, wing nuts, gun cleaning rod mounts, tow cable mounts, parts for scratch building a jack, jack block, exhaust, shovel, tool clamps, etc. These kits do come with instructions FYI. Saves the headache of figuring out what's what.

Oh man had I not just ordered a bunch of KT parts I'd be ordering these today! Ok these will be mine next payday! Question Zuul what is "solder paint" never heard of it before? I had always used solder that you need a soldering iron to apply.
