Re: What Should My Next Tank Be?

Thanks Jake...I almost bought a broken M41 Bulldog last night on ebay but i got outbid. It was on impulse and I was actually glad i got outbid-i feel that tank simply is too plain, undistinguished, lacks character, if you will.
Still-I have all German tanks. T-34 is a tank i've seen in history books etc. for at least 40 years...the jagdapnther is awesome too though and I've built three of them in various scales through the years... and can do the zimm and cool camo...It's a tough choice.
The Hooben T-55 seems pretty cool also and unique, i'd even consider that if i see it at a good price... i guess i will just wait for the exact right time, and price, whatever "it' turns out to be...to further muddy the waters i'm even thinking of making the 1/32 lindberg PT 109 instead! Could go in any of the above directions, but to me it is all good fun. Thinking about the models, planning, re-engineering, fabricating, researching, and window shopping, sometimes approaching an obsession at times.
This hobby's changed my life in a good way as it gives one many small goals and feeling of accomplishment...(I have medical conditions that keep me largely housebound, and the hobby provides a kind of structure to life. And helps keeps one's occupied mind away from bad feelings or ennui.)
