the first issue ...I don't know...even though it looks sold out...and the barrel is metal...it also looks like it's solid not hollow

Hi I got the barrel it is hollow but you need to cut and file the pins off. Got mine from eBay a shop in Scotland but he is charging almost double the price....number 2 the turret it has no sides they will come later!. Brian...

Consider you all there lucky...you at least have access to this stuff... here not so much... so I'll probably just make my own when I do my Firefly

hi guys I built the tiger 1 & what I found was it was a good kit but took to long waiting for all 140 issues & 3 years to build tanker 242.

Geoff, that's a shame.
Having said that, I bought the first two issues and it was a mixed bag.
Having the sides from the turret as a separate part is a ridiculous idea - this was bound to need a lot of sanding before it looked right.
Plus, like the Tiger, the plastic parts are rather 'soapy' and not particularly well-defined. It looks a lot like a scaled-up 1/35 scale kit.
No doubt some of the parts will soon wash up on ebay's shores...
