If you need the Tamiya paints ALPHA just let me know. My local shop has a pretty good supply. I would be happy to mail them to you. Postage shouldn't be that prohibitive from CA. to Hawaii for a 3oz. bottle of paint. Now the cost of the paint is a different matter, I'm paying $3.89 for 3oz.

I was referring to the bottled water based paints, same thing apply?

Mail sorting centers have tons of paper and lots of paper dust around, Introduce a flammable like tamiya paint and a spark and poof you have a very big problem with lots of people inside the building.
It may be a small risk but their is one none the less.

If you want paint shipped it can be done so but you just need to follow the procedure and ship via a courier with the proper placards on the box etc.
This is the reason I only have AMMO paints as they are non flammable and I can ship anyway I choose. I do carry Tamiya paints but only for pick up customers.
I learned this the hard way with the post almost giving me a fine once. needless to say I stay within their rules now

Unfortunately jtracks...it does apply...don't ask why...them Feds are all paranoid....they just don't realize that by imposing restrictions...the terrorists have won...no biggies though... as you can see I get pretty good results with the paint I use...it's almost as easy as Tamiya....What is going to really be the test is when I do a figure with my airbrush...don't think I will get the same results
