i'll try to calculate all the weight from the plywood, metal framing, suspension sets and internal parts
my rough estimate would be around probably less than 1/2 a ton. i might be wrong.

Sounds like the guy doesn't recommend electric motors for building one of these...he used a gas powered engine from what sounds
like one of those ride along lawn mowers ...then attached the drive by chains and belts
His build is smaller than yours...so there might be some wisdom in what he has to say...looks like he's built a few...there's more videos of other tanks
he's built
Here's his M60

unfortunately i am forced to drop the project... too many red tapes and "sanctions" needed to be made...

Red tape and sanctions? Where do you, communist China?

Thats too bad it would have been really cool for you to have built this monster.

Just put a rotating blade under the hull, no one can argue with what it is then.

Brunei Darussalam actually. government dont like people building "weapons" but it could be permitted if done with proper research and presentation of what will the purpose be to have and build one of these, and to have something different than quad bikes dominating beaches.

It has a lot of safety features built into this unit it is safe from flying debris

that even i incorporated into the design, safety harnesses, vision ports and 360 degree view screens, indicator lights, convoy lights, even a killswitch and fire extinguisher kit in the engine compartment and a firewall to separate the driver and the engine and transmission

A "weapon", were you planning on it being able to fire?

well my first idea was like a mechanized laser tag with a barrel recoil servo to emulate barrel recoil, a friend suggested that it could fire tennis balls but at a regulated strength, weak enough that it will not cause any bruising when accidental hitting a person.
