I've been using squadron white filler and find it real easy to use, sets quickly and is a fast way to apply that muddy look to your tank. Files and sands well and so far hasnt shown any cracking from my dodgy driving skills.

hi rocketman, i wouldnt worry about the warnings to much, ive been using it for yonks and its done me no harm, and its a damn good filler to use, i think the warnings are more to do with the pc brigade than anything else(bunch of tossers).
thats what i thought ice, i suppose the colour difference is in case some people dont like green ::) ;D ;D

of course the green stuff is deadly if you eat a few boxes of the stuff, along with super glue two part epoxy milliput mek humbrol liquid Polly turps oil paints  and about everything else we use in building and painting our models, take it with a pinch of salt but not too big a pinch as this will probably kill you as well , as tony said its all PC bull___t

I wondered if the difference between the white and green might be how fine the texture is? I think milliput was suppose to be different depending on what colour you used but I didnt notice anything between the grey & white versions I've used. I just happened to pic up the white tube of the squadrin filler and no i havent read the warnings on it until now, looks like they're the usual idiot proof warnings for the hard of thinking ::)

hi crispy
i think youve got apoint there about the texture, i never thought of that, but for us tankers i dont think texture would make an awfull lot of difference, what with all all the things we do to the tanks.
hey mooncat', when youre filler arrives dont forget, dont eat it, dont snort it, and dont smoke it, this wouldnt do youre tank any good if you did ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

PC Brigade indeed - this is why Tamiya & Vallejo paints will shortly be a thing of the past - just because someone wants them to publicise the precise ingredients and they refuse.
