Thanks for letting us know, hopefully they got it all the first go around Jack....
Abscessed Teeth very dangerous especially in the elderly. Don't ignore a toothache! Pure poison it can quickly overwhelm your immune system and cause all kinds of problems...

Today for the 1st time in almost a week she said she's feeling better! Well she wrote us notes that is as her mouth is still swollen and she still has tubes in her nose to help her breath and to feed her with. Should have seen the look on her face when I told her they pulled 10 teeth and took out some bone from her jaw and cheek she was SHOCKED she had no idea they did that. They may have told her but she's been on SOOOoooo much morphine and oxycodone for pain she probly didn't know her own name!

I can laugh a little now cause she's doing better but she still has a LONG way to go. I doubt she'll be home for another 10 days to 2 weeks yet. She may need physical therapy cause she hasn't been out of bed since Tuesday before last! This was day #10 in intensive care with a round the clock nurse just to watch her!
Work has been a nightmare as you can imagine, I took off a couple days but with kids that are used to eating and car payments and mortgage to pay I had to go back. They expect me to be able to take AND PASS a big test this Friday for Amtrak (I work for the railroad if I hadn't mentioned it before. I may not get to drive tanks but I transport them and I drive stuff thats WAY bigger! But sadly no gun.) which is NOT going to happen as I haven't had any time to study! I get up go to work till about 5, visit mom till about 8 or 9, come home, shower and eat, maybe play some World Of Tanks on my Xbox, go to bed and repeat the next day. I'm exhausted
Then to top it off my Tigers left side transmission is acting stupid! The pressed together gears on my 4.1 transmission came apart again so I cleaned and sanded and cleaned them again and put epoxy in between them and I'm HOPING that fixes it! If not its back apart and I'm gonna drill them and fit a screw and nut on them and epoxy them together and then if it comes apart again I'm gonna give the damn thing to Alpha cause at this point I'm just pissed every time I run it something else breaks!
My King Tiger however is fantastic! Thing runs like a Swiss watch (errr..... maybe German watch?)! I had planned on ordering a Torro hull for it but to be honest at this point I can't see a reason for me to get it, she runs perfectly. I gotta get some pics up and maybe start a build thread for it but so far she's all 100% bone stock cause I haven't had time to do anything to her. I've found TONS of research sites and pics for the KT if anyone is interested I'll make a thread on that as well since there isn't too much info here for the KT unlike the Tiger.
Last but not least I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts, your prayers, your well wishes and your kind words. They mean so very much, thank you.

You're a great bunch guys and I can honestly say I'm glad I found this site.

I remember that when my Father died I was far away and never had the chance to tell him I loved him, I am sure your Mum knows you love her, but you can't tell her enough. In concert with a lot of us out here I am still praying for your mum. shaun

My dad died when I was in the Army and wasn't able to say good bye to him either so I know how you feel.
Mom wrote my wife and I a note thanking us for saving her life, the dr's told her if she hadn't come in when she did or even if another hour had passed she wouldn't have made it this far.
She's dong much better now, the swelling has gone down ALOT, they removed 1 of the drains from her neck (I know sounds nasty and trust me IT IS). She's even watching TV now! She's upset that Joan Rivers died my mom liked her show.
Thanks guys.

Ps.yes it's unfortunate about Joan... she was an icon...not a fan...but she definitely left her mark on the American Culture...

Latest update; She's doing much better! The infection is almost completely gone, the nurses report no more infection comes out when they flush her wounds they're just waiting for the swelling to go down so they can remove all the drains and stitch her up. Once she gets stitched up and they can remove the breathing and feeding tubes she gets moved to a regular room and out of the ICU!
As for me I'm exhausted! Working full time and visiting mom every day and trying to study for Amtrak I decided to take the day off.
