Morning Dave

I cant believe how it ended up like this Its a world apart from how it looked. A local guy called steve did the camo and weathering on it. nice chap he's done plenty of tanks.

I had all the metal running gear I got from you added to it whilst it was being sprayed and it drives like a completely different tank now,The extra weight really slows the whole unit down to a more realistic speed.

Thanks Again Rich

Richy, It looks great but in some pictures the jack (forgive me I have a thing about jacks) is on one side and in others it is on the opposite side. In predigital times I would have thought the negatives were reversed but not these days, anyway I am sure it will finally find it's resting place on the right side (looking from the back) although I would not be surprised if David produced evidence to show that jacks on Tigers went wherever the crew wanted! The umbrella aerial is out there, I think I saw it on a German site, but I am sure someone on the Forum described how to make one, blowed if I can remember who or when.sorry for not being very helpful. :/ shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Hi shaun

Your rite the jack appears on the right of the unpainted tank but on the left of the painted tank. This has been removed and placed on the left as in pictures the tank was based on. Apperently it was a commanders tank and these appeared to be on the left side ( I think ) im going to put on the antenna once found also the crank handle set and tilt the clamp over slightly too.

Thanks for looking

Hi Rich,

I think the paint job looks amazing, very realistic, not to over done, the weathering that is, you must love the outcome.

Hi john

Yes very very happy. It was a very late tank so didnt look so battered and broozed from months of battle like some early to mid tiger's looked

Thanks for looking

Hi Alpha

Do you think I needs renumbering with paint ? I didn't do the paint job myself so tbh would trust myself. If anyone is local with a steady hand and a whitewash colour I would be more than happy to let them rewrite it freehand lol

Thanks

Rich
It's probably just me Rich..... I used to always number by hand when I did Zim on my tanks.... decals and stuff never really sit all that well...if you have an unsteady hand ...one trick is to slice the decals where they "float" on the Zim... seal it with a clear.. and just redo the exposed areas...the seal it with a flat or satin overcoat :D

Steel-wheeled Command Tigers had a unique rear wall layout.

Ive just fitted the mako2 atrc board from Kev in Aussie very straight forward mod to do would recommend to do it as the tank actually looks like a tank when it fires the main gun not having a fit  ...

I say straight forward I did have to contact kev about it just to ask a question or two lol... thanks Kev
