Evapro rust will clean them up 100% and they'll look like new!

Just to let you know Evapro rust cleaned all the rust and 100 year old bluing off of a 1913 German Luger I restored that was left by my father in the basement of our old house in a cardboard box and the basement had flooded several times. The gun was in HORRIBLE condition! The upper was frozen onto the lower and the trigger would not move nor would the mag release from the lower. I let it soak over night in evapro rust over night and the next day everything was freed up and moving. I disassembled the gun and gave it another over night soak and the following day I was able to start polishing and finding out what was good and what needed to be replaced. A quick trip to a friend of mine who just so happens to work at a shop that does high end metal work for the govt. and he magna fluxed it and thats when I found out the barrel would probly explode if I tried to fire it butt he lower was perfect. A new upper and barrel some Brownells old world rust blue, a dash of sodium nitrate to give it more of a black blue hue and all new springs and grips and mag and 3 months later waiting for parts from Poland and TA DA I had a brand new 1913 9mm German Luger!

Thanks I used wd40 and a wire brush. Going to let them sit overnight and see what happens.
If it doesn't work well I will certainly give Evapo a shot

Hope they come out good Mark...they really aren't that bad.... Just a little TLC for "life like" appearance

Is that real rust or is it a paint effect? Are the tracks metal or plastic? If it is real rust then check the condition of the track pins.

It's real rust definitely WD 40 and not brass but steel wire brush
